Micro Seiki BL-51 Belt drive turntable

Made in Japan between 1979 and 1985, the Micro Seiki BL-51 was one of Micro Seiki's best-selling turntables of all time.  It is a behemoth of a machine - supremely engineered and crafted to do one thing really well - spin vinyl!  This one is in superb shape and comes with one of the best tonearms ever made - the Micro Seiki MA-707 - optionally fitted with a Fidelity Research MC201 low output moving coil cartridge.
 
If you know your turntables then you know that at this price, this combination is a steal - and getting your hands on one is becoming a near impossible task.  So spoil yourself with a turntable that will become the jewel in your crown.
 
The lid could do with a bit of a polish

Starting with a massive, thick, 12.2 inch platter and employing special-alloy bearings machined and polished with techniques usually reserved for turbojet engines, MICRO's engineers have devised an exclusive oil-bath damping system to support the entire rotating assembly in complete isolation from all mechanical resonances.... Not only does the system negate the need for periodical user lubrication, it is unaffected by temperature changes and aging!"
