Technics RS-M88 Tape Deck

This is a beast of a tape deck.  For one thing, it's a Quartz Locked Direct Drive deck - just when you thought only turntables were direct drive!
 
Technics embedded a lot of technology into this - with Sendust heads an added bonus.  If tapes are your thing then get yourself a serious machine like this one.
 
Cosmpetically, the top isn't the best but everything else is fine considering its age.
